﴿يَوۡمَ تَبۡيَضُّ وُجُوهٞ وَتَسۡوَدُّ وُجُوهٞۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡوَدَّتۡ وُجُوهُهُمۡ أَكَفَرۡتُم بَعۡدَ إِيمَٰنِكُمۡ فَذُوقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 106]
﴿يوم تبيض وجوه وتسود وجوه فأما الذين اسودت وجوههم أكفرتم بعد إيمانكم﴾ [آل عِمران: 106]
| Abdel Haleem On the Day when some faces brighten and others darken, it will be said to those with darkened faces, ‘How could you reject your faith after believing? Taste the torment for doing so,’ |
| Abdul Hye On the Day (of Resurrection) some faces will be brightened and some faces will be blackened. As for those with blackened faces (it will be said): “Did you disbelieve after your faith? Then taste the punishment (in hell) for your disbelief.” |
