﴿ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَجَابُواْ لِلَّهِ وَٱلرَّسُولِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَآ أَصَابَهُمُ ٱلۡقَرۡحُۚ لِلَّذِينَ أَحۡسَنُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ أَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٌ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 172]
﴿الذين استجابوا لله والرسول من بعد ما أصابهم القرح للذين أحسنوا منهم﴾ [آل عِمران: 172]
| Abdel Haleem Those who responded to God and the Messenger after suffering defeat, who do good and remain conscious of God, will have a great reward |
| Abdul Hye Those who responded (the call) Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad) after their injury (in the battle of Uhud); there is great reward for such as those who do good and fear Allah |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Of those who answered the call of Allah and the Messenger, even after being wounded, those who do right and refrain from wrong have a great reward |
