﴿وَلَقَدۡ ضَرَبۡنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٖۚ وَلَئِن جِئۡتَهُم بِـَٔايَةٖ لَّيَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا مُبۡطِلُونَ ﴾
[الرُّوم: 58]
﴿ولقد ضربنا للناس في هذا القرآن من كل مثل ولئن جئتهم بآية﴾ [الرُّوم: 58]
| Abdel Haleem In this Quran We have set every kind of illustration before people, yet if you [Prophet] brought them a miracle, the disbelievers would still say, ‘You [prophets] deal only in falsehood.’ |
| Abdul Hye Indeed We have set forth every example for mankind in this Qur’an. But if you (O Muhammad) bring any sign to them, those who disbelieve will say (to the believers): “Surely you are nothing but preaching falsehood.” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali verily We have propounded for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable: But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, "Ye do nothing but talk vanities |
