﴿۞ قَدۡ يَعۡلَمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنكُمۡ وَٱلۡقَآئِلِينَ لِإِخۡوَٰنِهِمۡ هَلُمَّ إِلَيۡنَاۖ وَلَا يَأۡتُونَ ٱلۡبَأۡسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 18]
﴿قد يعلم الله المعوقين منكم والقائلين لإخوانهم هلم إلينا ولا يأتون البأس﴾ [الأحزَاب: 18]
| Abdel Haleem God knows exactly who among you hinder others, who [secretly] say to their brothers, ‘Come and join us,’ who hardly ever come out to fight |
| Abdul Hye Allah already knows those from among you who keep back (people) from fighting (in Allah’s cause), and those who say to their brothers: “Come here towards us,” while they (themselves) don’t come to the battle except a few |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Verily Allah knows those among you who keep back (men) and those who say to their brethren, "Come along to us", but come not to the fight except for just a little while |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Surely Allah knoweth those among you who hinder and those who say unto their brethren: come hither unto us; and they themselves come not to the battle save a ittle |
| Ahmed Ali Surely God knows who among you obstruct, and those who say to their brethren: "Come to us," and go to battle but seldom |
| Aisha Bewley Allah knows the obstructers among you and those who say to their brothers, ´Come to us,´ and who only come to fight a very little |
| A. J. Arberry God would surely know those of you who hinder, and those who say to their brothers, 'Come to us,' and come to battle but little |
