﴿وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوٓاْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٖ مَّجۡنُونِۭ ﴾
[الصَّافَات: 36]
﴿ويقولون أئنا لتاركوا آلهتنا لشاعر مجنون﴾ [الصَّافَات: 36]
| Abdel Haleem and said, ‘Are we to forsake our gods for a mad poet?’ |
| Abdul Hye and say: “Are we going to abandon our one worthy of worship for the sake of a mad poet?” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a Poet distracted |
| Ahmed Ali And said: "Should we abandon our gods for the sake of an insane poet |
| Aisha Bewley They said, ´Are we to forsake our gods for a mad poet?´ |
| A. J. Arberry saying, 'What, shall we forsake our gods for a poet possessed |
