﴿فَإِن يَصۡبِرُواْ فَٱلنَّارُ مَثۡوٗى لَّهُمۡۖ وَإِن يَسۡتَعۡتِبُواْ فَمَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُعۡتَبِينَ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 24]
﴿فإن يصبروا فالنار مثوى لهم وإن يستعتبوا فما هم من المعتبين﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 24]
Abdel Haleem The Fire will still be their home, even if they resign themselves to patience, and if they pray to be allowed to make amends, they will not be given permission to do so |
Abdul Hye Then, whether they have patience (or not), the fire will be a home for them, and if they beg to be excused, they are not those who will ever be excused |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali If, then, they have patience, the Fire will be a home for them! and if they beg to be received into favour, into favour will they not (then) be received |
Abdul Majid Daryabadi Then if they are patient, the Fire is their home, and if they seek to please Allah, they will not be of those who are allowed to please Allah |
