﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَشَآقُّواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ لَن يَضُرُّواْ ٱللَّهَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَسَيُحۡبِطُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ ﴾
[مُحمد: 32]
﴿إن الذين كفروا وصدوا عن سبيل الله وشاقوا الرسول من بعد ما﴾ [مُحمد: 32]
Abdel Haleem Those who disbelieve, bar others from God’s path, and oppose the Messenger when they have been shown guidance, do not harm God in any way. He will make their deeds go to waste |
Abdul Hye Surely, those who disbelieve and hinder people from the Way of Allah, and oppose the Messenger after the guidance has been clearly shown to them, they will never hurt Allah in the least, but He will make their deeds fruitless |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali Those who reject Allah, hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, and resist the Messenger, after Guidance has been clearly shown to them, will not injure Allah in the least, but He will make their deeds of no effect |
Abdul Majid Daryabadi Verily those who have disbelieved and have hindered others from the way of Allah and have opposed the apostle after the guidance had become manifest Unto them, shall not hurt Allah at all, and anon He shall render their works of non effect |
Ahmed Ali Surely those who do not believe, and obstruct others from the path of God, and oppose the Prophet after the way of guidance has been opened to them, will not hurt God in the least, and He will nullify all that they have done |
Aisha Bewley Those who are kafir and obstruct the Way of Allah, and are entrenched in hostility towards the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to them, do not harm Allah in any way and He makes their actions come to nothing |
A. J. Arberry Those who disbelieve and bar from God's way and make a breach with the Messenger after the guidance has become clear to them, they will nothing hurt God, and He will make their works to fail |
Ali Quli Qarai Indeed those who are faithless and bar from the way of Allah and defy the Apostle after guidance has become clear to them, will not hurt Allah in the least, and He shall make their works fail |
