﴿۞ وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ لَا تُغۡنِي شَفَٰعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَن يَأۡذَنَ ٱللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرۡضَىٰٓ ﴾
[النَّجم: 26]
﴿وكم من ملك في السموات لا تغني شفاعتهم شيئا إلا من بعد﴾ [النَّجم: 26]
Abdel Haleem There are many angels in heaven whose intercession will be of no use until God gives permission to those He will, whose words He will accept |
Abdul Hye How many angels are there in the heavens; yet their intercession can avail nothing except what Allah gives permission for whom He wills and pleases |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali How many-so-ever be the angels in the heavens, their intercession will avail nothing except after Allah has given leave for whom He pleases and that he is acceptable to Him |
