﴿وَمَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّۖ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ شَيۡـٔٗا ﴾
[النَّجم: 28]
﴿وما لهم به من علم إن يتبعون إلا الظن وإن الظن لا﴾ [النَّجم: 28]
| Abdel Haleem They have no knowledge to base this on: they merely follow guesswork. Guesswork is of no value against the Truth |
| Abdul Hye But they have no knowledge of it. They follow but a guess; and surely guess does not substitute for the truth at all |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali But they have no knowledge therein. They follow nothing but conjecture; and conjecture avails nothing against Truth |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And they have no knowledge thereof; they follow but a vain opinion, and verily a vain opinion attaineth not aught of the truth |
