﴿كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا كُلِّهَا فَأَخَذۡنَٰهُمۡ أَخۡذَ عَزِيزٖ مُّقۡتَدِرٍ ﴾
[القَمَر: 42]
﴿كذبوا بآياتنا كلها فأخذناهم أخذ عزيز مقتدر﴾ [القَمَر: 42]
| Abdel Haleem They rejected all Our signs so We seized them with all Our might and power |
| Abdul Hye (They) denied Our all signs. So We seized them with a seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of our Mighty, Powerful |
