﴿فَلَمَّا نَسُواْ مَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِۦ فَتَحۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَبۡوَٰبَ كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَرِحُواْ بِمَآ أُوتُوٓاْ أَخَذۡنَٰهُم بَغۡتَةٗ فَإِذَا هُم مُّبۡلِسُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 44]
﴿فلما نسوا ما ذكروا به فتحنا عليهم أبواب كل شيء حتى إذا﴾ [الأنعَام: 44]
| Abdel Haleem So, when they had forgotten the warning they had received, We opened the gates to everything for them. Then, as they revelled in what they had been given, We struck them suddenly and they were dumbfounded |
| Abdul Hye When they forgot the warning what they had been reminded therewith, We opened to them the gates of every pleasant thing, until when they were rejoicing in what they were granted, We seized them suddenly, and then they were plunged into despair |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali But when they forgot the warning they had received, We opened to them the gates of all (good) things, until, in the midst of their enjoyment of Our gifts, on a sudden, We called them to account, when lo! they were plunged in despair |
