﴿قُلۡ إِنِّي عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّي وَكَذَّبۡتُم بِهِۦۚ مَا عِندِي مَا تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ بِهِۦٓۚ إِنِ ٱلۡحُكۡمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِۖ يَقُصُّ ٱلۡحَقَّۖ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡفَٰصِلِينَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 57]
﴿قل إني على بينة من ربي وكذبتم به ما عندي ما تستعجلون﴾ [الأنعَام: 57]
Abdel Haleem Say, ‘I stand on clear proof from my Lord, though you deny it. What you seek to hasten is not within my power. Judgement is for God alone: He tells the truth, and He is the best of judges.’ |
Abdul Hye Say (O Muhammad): “I am on a clear proof from my Lord, but you have rejected it. I don’t have (the punishment) which you are demanding hastily. The decision is not but for Allah: He declares the truth, and He is the best of the judges.” |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali Say: "For me, I (work) on a clear sign from my Lord, but ye reject Him. What ye would see hastened, is not in my power. The command rests with none but Allah: He declares the truth, and He is the best of judges |
