﴿وَإِذَا رَأَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخُوضُونَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيۡرِهِۦۚ وَإِمَّا يُنسِيَنَّكَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ فَلَا تَقۡعُدۡ بَعۡدَ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ مَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 68]
﴿وإذا رأيت الذين يخوضون في آياتنا فأعرض عنهم حتى يخوضوا في حديث﴾ [الأنعَام: 68]
| Abdel Haleem When you come across people who speak with scorn about Our revelations, turn away from them until they move on to another topic. If Satan should make you forget, then, when you have remembered, do not sit with those who are doing wrong |
| Abdul Hye And when you (Muhammad) see those who engage in (argument with) Our revelations, turn away from them until they engage in a talk other than that (topic). If Satan causes you to forget (the commandment), then after the remembrance, you don’t sit with the wrongdoers |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali When thou seest men engaged in vain discourse about Our signs, turn away from them unless they turn to a different theme. If Satan ever makes thee forget, then after recollection, sit not thou in the company of those who do wrong |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And when thou seest those who plunge in Our revelations keep away from them until they plunge in a discourse other than that; and if the Satan causeth thee to forget, then sit not thou, after the recollection, with the wrong-doing people |
