﴿قَالُوٓاْ أَرۡجِهۡ وَأَخَاهُ وَأَرۡسِلۡ فِي ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ حَٰشِرِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 111]
﴿قالوا أرجه وأخاه وأرسل في المدائن حاشرين﴾ [الأعرَاف: 111]
| Abdel Haleem They said, ‘Delay him and his brother for a while, and send messengers to all the cities |
| Abdul Hye They said: "Keep him in suspense and his brother, and send collectors to cities |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali They said: "Keep him and his brother in suspense (for a while); and send to the cities men to collect |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi They said: put him and his bro ther off, and send unto the cities callers |
| Ahmed Ali They said: "Put him and his brother off (awhile) and send out heralds to the cities |
| Aisha Bewley They said, ´Detain him and his brother and send out marshals to the cities |
