﴿قُلۡ أَمَرَ رَبِّي بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ وَأَقِيمُواْ وُجُوهَكُمۡ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسۡجِدٖ وَٱدۡعُوهُ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَۚ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمۡ تَعُودُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 29]
﴿قل أمر ربي بالقسط وأقيموا وجوهكم عند كل مسجد وادعوه مخلصين له﴾ [الأعرَاف: 29]
Abdel Haleem Say, ‘My Lord commands righteousness. Direct your worship straight to Him wherever you pray; call on Him; devote your religion entirely to Him. Just as He first created you, so you will come back [to life] again.’ |
Abdul Hye Say (O Muhammad): “My Lord has commanded justice, keep straight your faces (to Him) at every prayer place, and invoke to Him being sincere in faith as He created you so shall you return.” |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali Say: "My Lord hath commanded justice; and that ye set your whole selves (to Him) at every time and place of prayer, and call upon Him, making your devotion sincere as in His sight: such as He created you in the beginning, so shall ye return |
Abdul Majid Daryabadi Say thou; my Lord hath enjoined equity, and that ye shall set your faces aright at every prostration, and call on Him, making religion pure for Him. Even as He began you; ye shall be brought back |
