﴿يُبَصَّرُونَهُمۡۚ يَوَدُّ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُ لَوۡ يَفۡتَدِي مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِئِذِۭ بِبَنِيهِ ﴾
[المَعَارج: 11]
﴿يبصرونهم يود المجرم لو يفتدي من عذاب يومئذ ببنيه﴾ [المَعَارج: 11]
Abdel Haleem even when they are within sight of one another. The guilty person will wish he could save himself from the suffering of that Day by sacrificing his sons |
Abdul Hye though they will be made to see one another (no one can help including relatives). The criminal would wish to ransom himself from the punishment of that Day by his children |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali Though they will be put in sight of each other,- the sinner's desire will be: Would that he could redeem himself from the Penalty of that Day by (sacrificing) his children |
Abdul Majid Daryabadi Though they shall be made to see one another. Fain would the guilty ransom himself from the torment of that Day by his children |
Ahmed Ali Though within sight of one another. The sinner would like to ransom himself from the torment of that Day by offering his sons |
