﴿هُنَالِكَ تَبۡلُواْ كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ مَّآ أَسۡلَفَتۡۚ وَرُدُّوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ مَوۡلَىٰهُمُ ٱلۡحَقِّۖ وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَفۡتَرُونَ ﴾
[يُونس: 30]
﴿هنالك تبلو كل نفس ما أسلفت وردوا إلى الله مولاهم الحق وضل﴾ [يُونس: 30]
| Dr Kamal Omar Then and there every Nafs will test what she sent before and they were brought back to Allah, their rightful Maula (Protector). And vanished from them whatever they had been inventing in falsehood |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar There every soul will be tried for what it has did in the past. And they would be returned to God, their Defender, The Truth. And from them will go astray what they had been devising |
| Dr Munir Munshey There, all souls will assess their past deeds, and they will be referred back to Allah, their real Patron. None of their fabricated lies would be of any avail to them |

| George Sale There shall every soul experince that which it shall have sent before it; and they shall be brought before God, their true Lord; and the false deities which they vainly imagined, shall disappear from before them |
| Maududi Thereupon everyone shall taste the recompense of his past deeds. All shall be sent back to Allah, their true Lord, and then all the falsehoods they had fabricated will have forsaken them |
