﴿قَالُواْ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَدٗاۗ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥۖ هُوَ ٱلۡغَنِيُّۖ لَهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنۡ عِندَكُم مِّن سُلۡطَٰنِۭ بِهَٰذَآۚ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ ﴾
[يُونس: 68]
﴿قالوا اتخذ الله ولدا سبحانه هو الغني له ما في السموات وما﴾ [يُونس: 68]
| Dr Kamal Omar They (who have deviated from the Book of Allah) said: “Allah has begotten a son.” His Glory keeps Him absolved of it. He is Free of all needs. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. For this (false accusation) you have no proof with you. Do you say concerning Allah what you know not |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They said God took to Himself a son. Glory be to Him. He is Sufficient. To Him is whatever is in the heavens and in and on the earth. With you there is no authority for this. Say you against God what you know not |
| Dr Munir Munshey They say, "Allah has taken a son!" Exalted is He! He is free of all needs! Everything in the heavens and on the earth belongs to Him! Do you have an authority to say that? Or do you claim about Allah that, concerning which you have no knowledge |

| George Sale They say, God hath begotten children: God forbid! He is self-sufficient. Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in heaven and on earth: Ye have no demonstrative proof of this. Do ye speak of God that which ye know not |
