﴿فَلَمَّآ أَلۡقَوۡاْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئۡتُم بِهِ ٱلسِّحۡرُۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَيُبۡطِلُهُۥٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُصۡلِحُ عَمَلَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ ﴾
[يُونس: 81]
﴿فلما ألقوا قال موسى ما جئتم به السحر إن الله سيبطله إن﴾ [يُونس: 81]
| Dr Kamal Omar Then when they dropped (their items) on the ground, Musa said: “What you came alongwith is sorcery. Surely, Allah, very soon, will prove it false. Verily, Allah does not reform the work of Al-Mufsidun |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Then, when they cast Moses said: What you brought about is sorcery. Truly, God will render it untrue. Truly, God makes not right the actions of the ones who make corruption |

| Maududi Then when they had cast (their staffs), Moses said: `What you have produced is sheer sorcery. Allah will certainly reduce it to naught. Surely Allah does not set right the work of the mischief-makers |
