﴿وَلَقَدۡ بَوَّأۡنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ مُبَوَّأَ صِدۡقٖ وَرَزَقۡنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ فَمَا ٱخۡتَلَفُواْ حَتَّىٰ جَآءَهُمُ ٱلۡعِلۡمُۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَقۡضِي بَيۡنَهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ ﴾
[يُونس: 93]
﴿ولقد بوأنا بني إسرائيل مبوأ صدق ورزقناهم من الطيبات فما اختلفوا حتى﴾ [يُونس: 93]
| Dr Kamal Omar And indeed We settled Bani Israiel in an honourable settlement and gave them provisions out of Tayyibat and they differed not until the knowledge came to them. Surely, Allah will pronounce judgement among them on the Day of Resurrection in that in which they used to differ |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And, certainly, We placed the Children of Israel in a sound place of settlement and provided them with what is good. And they are not at variance until the knowledge drew near them. Truly, thy Lord will decree between them on the Day of Resurrection about what they had been at variance in it |
| Dr Munir Munshey We gave the Israelites really nice residences and granted them good provisions. Yet they began disputing after the knowledge had already come to them. On the Day of Judgment, your Lord will surely dispense His decision regarding everything they quarreled about |
| Edward Henry Palmer And we established the people of Israel with a sure establishment, and we provided them with good things; nor did they disagree until there came to them the knowledge. Verily, thy Lord shall decide between them on the resurrection day concerning that whereon they did dispute |
| Farook Malik We settled the Children of Israel in a respectable dwelling place and provided them with the good things of life. They did not cause dissension until after knowledge had come to them. Surely your Lord will judge between them in those matters in which they caused dissension on the Day of Resurrection |
| George Sale And We prepared for the children of Israel an established dwelling in the land of Canaan, and We provided good things for their sustenance: And they differed not in point of religion, until knowledge had come unto them; verily thy Lord will judge between them on the day of resurrection, concerning that wherein they disagreed |
| Maududi We settled the Children of Israel in a blessed land, and provided them with all manner of good things. They only disagreed among themselves after knowledge (of the truth had) come to them. Surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning their disagreements |
