﴿يَٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ أَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡ هَٰذَآۖ إِنَّهُۥ قَدۡ جَآءَ أَمۡرُ رَبِّكَۖ وَإِنَّهُمۡ ءَاتِيهِمۡ عَذَابٌ غَيۡرُ مَرۡدُودٖ ﴾
[هُود: 76]
﴿ياإبراهيم أعرض عن هذا إنه قد جاء أمر ربك وإنهم آتيهم عذاب﴾ [هُود: 76]
| Dr Kamal Omar O Ibrahim! Forsake this. Certainly, it (is that) the command of your Nourisher-Sustainer has surely gone forth, and certainly, they: is coming to them a torment not being that (which could be one) which has been turned back |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O Abraham! Turn aside from this. Truly, the command of thy Lord drew near. And, truly, that which arrives for them is a punishment, one that is not to be repelled |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh Ibraheem! Leave it! Let it be! Your Lord´s decree has arrived. An unavoidable torment will befall them |
| Edward Henry Palmer O Abraham! avoid this; verily, the bidding of thy Lord has come; verily, there is coming to them torment that cannot be put off |
| Farook Malik The angels said: "O Abraham! Leave this topic. The decree of your Lord has already been issued, now there must come to them a punishment that cannot be averted |
| George Sale The angels said unto him, O Abraham, abstain from this; for now is the command of thy Lord come, to put their sentence in execution, and an inevitable punishment is ready to fall upon them |
