﴿ثُمَّ بَدَا لَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا رَأَوُاْ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لَيَسۡجُنُنَّهُۥ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 35]
﴿ثم بدا لهم من بعد ما رأوا الآيات ليسجننه حتى حين﴾ [يُوسُف: 35]
| Dr Kamal Omar Then it appeared harmless to them, after they had assessed the signs, proofs and evidences, that they may keep him in prison until the (needed) time (is over) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Again, it showed itself to them. And after they saw the signs, it seemed that they should imprison him for a while |
| Dr Munir Munshey Despite the evidence before them, they concluded that they better send Yusuf to prison for a while |
