﴿ثُمَّ يَأۡتِي مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ سَبۡعٞ شِدَادٞ يَأۡكُلۡنَ مَا قَدَّمۡتُمۡ لَهُنَّ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا مِّمَّا تُحۡصِنُونَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 48]
﴿ثم يأتي من بعد ذلك سبع شداد يأكلن ما قدمتم لهن إلا﴾ [يُوسُف: 48]
| Dr Kamal Omar Then will come after this seven very hard (years) which will devour what you have saved in advance for them except a very small portion of what you will store |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Again, seven severe years will approach after that. You will eat what you put forward, but a little of what you keep in store |
| Dr Munir Munshey These will be followed by seven years of drought. During that time, you will use up all the grain you had stored, except what you need as seed |
| Edward Henry Palmer Then there shall come after that seven severe (years) which shall devour what ye have put by before for them, save a little of what ye shall preserve |
