﴿وَإِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن صَلۡصَٰلٖ مِّنۡ حَمَإٖ مَّسۡنُونٖ ﴾
[الحِجر: 28]
﴿وإذ قال ربك للملائكة إني خالق بشرا من صلصال من حمإ مسنون﴾ [الحِجر: 28]
| Dr Kamal Omar And (bring to mind) when your Nourisher-Sustainer said to the angels: “Surely, I am about to be a Creator of a human being from sounding clay of a black fermented mud |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And mention when thy Lord said to the angels: Truly, I am One Who is Creator of mortals out of earth-mud of soft wet earth |
| Dr Munir Munshey Your Lord said to the angels, "I am going to bring a man into existence from the dried-out stinking clay |
| Edward Henry Palmer And when thy Lord said to the angels, 'Verily, I am creating a mortal from crackling clay of black mud wrought into shape |
