﴿وَقَضَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ أَنَّ دَابِرَ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ مَقۡطُوعٞ مُّصۡبِحِينَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 66]
﴿وقضينا إليه ذلك الأمر أن دابر هؤلاء مقطوع مصبحين﴾ [الحِجر: 66]
| Dr Kamal Omar And We decided in his favour this matter: that the foundation of these people (would be) cut off, when they are those who face the morning |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And We decreed the command to him that the last remnant of these would be that which is severed, in that which is morning |
| Dr Munir Munshey We conveyed to him Our decision that by dawn those people will be completely annihilated |
| Edward Henry Palmer And we decided for him this affair because the uttermost one of these people should be cut off on the morrow |
| Farook Malik We informed him about this decree of Ours that the roots of the sinners of his city would be cut off by the morning |
| George Sale And We gave him this command; because the utmost remnant of those people was to be cut off in the morning |
| Maududi And We communicated to him the decree that by the morning those people will be totally destroyed |
