And We presented them with Our signs betokening Omnipotence and Authority but

﴿وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا فَكَانُواْ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِينَ ﴾
[الحِجر: 81]

And We presented them with Our signs betokening Omnipotence and Authority but they took objection against them and a dislike

﴿وآتيناهم آياتنا فكانوا عنها معرضين﴾ [الحِجر: 81]
