﴿وَإِن كَادُواْ لَيَسۡتَفِزُّونَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِيُخۡرِجُوكَ مِنۡهَاۖ وَإِذٗا لَّا يَلۡبَثُونَ خِلَٰفَكَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا ﴾
[الإسرَاء: 76]
﴿وإن كادوا ليستفزونك من الأرض ليخرجوك منها وإذا لا يلبثون خلافك إلا﴾ [الإسرَاء: 76]
| Dr Kamal Omar And if they could, they would have surely frightened you (so much) from the place that they may drive you out from there. But in that case they would not stay (therein) after you, except for a little while |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They were about to hound thee from the region that they drive thee out of it. Then, they would not linger in expectation behind thee but for a little while |
