﴿فَأَتَتۡ بِهِۦ قَوۡمَهَا تَحۡمِلُهُۥۖ قَالُواْ يَٰمَرۡيَمُ لَقَدۡ جِئۡتِ شَيۡـٔٗا فَرِيّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 27]
﴿فأتت به قومها تحمله قالوا يامريم لقد جئت شيئا فريا﴾ [مَريَم: 27]
| Dr Kamal Omar So she came with him to her nation — she holds him (in her lap). They said: “O Maryam (Mary)! Surely, indeed you have brought a thing strange and undesirable |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Then, she approached her folk with him, carrying him. They said: O Mary! Surely, thou hadst drawn near a monstrous thing |
| Dr Munir Munshey She returned to her folks carrying him (the baby). They said, "Oh Mary! What an unprecedented act have you committed |
