﴿وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يُعۡجِبُكَ قَوۡلُهُۥ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَيُشۡهِدُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا فِي قَلۡبِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ ٱلۡخِصَامِ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 204]
﴿ومن الناس من يعجبك قوله في الحياة الدنيا ويشهد الله على ما﴾ [البَقَرَة: 204]
| Dr Kamal Omar And amongst the people (there) is (one) whose speech about the life of this world dazzles you and he makes Allah as Witness to whatever is in his heart, yet he is most perverted enemy |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And among humanity is one whose sayings impress thee about this present life and he calls to God to witness what is in his heart while he is most stubborn in altercation |
