﴿فَوَسۡوَسَ إِلَيۡهِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ قَالَ يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ هَلۡ أَدُلُّكَ عَلَىٰ شَجَرَةِ ٱلۡخُلۡدِ وَمُلۡكٖ لَّا يَبۡلَىٰ ﴾
[طه: 120]
﴿فوسوس إليه الشيطان قال ياآدم هل أدلك على شجرة الخلد وملك لا﴾ [طه: 120]
| Dr Kamal Omar Then Satan whispered to him (and) said: “O Adam! Shall I lead you to the tree of eternity and to a dominion that will never crumble?” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Then, Satan whispered evil to him. He said: O Adam! Will I point thee to the Tree of Infinity and a dominion that will not decay |
| Dr Munir Munshey Yet Shaitan whispered (and aroused) doubts in his mind saying, "Oh Adam, shall I show you the tree of immortality, and the domain that has no demise |
| Edward Henry Palmer But the devil whispered to him. Said he, 'O Adam! shall I guide thee to the tree of immortality, and a kingdom that shall not wane |
| Farook Malik But Satan seduced him saying: "O Adam! Should I show you the Tree of Immortality and an everlasting kingdom |
| George Sale But Satan whispered evil suggestions unto him, saying, O Adam, shall I guide thee to the tree of eternity, and a kingdom which faileth not |
| Maududi But Satan seduced him, saying: "Adam! Shall I direct you to a tree of eternal life and an abiding kingdom |
