﴿إِنَّهُۥ مَن يَأۡتِ رَبَّهُۥ مُجۡرِمٗا فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحۡيَىٰ ﴾
[طه: 74]
﴿إنه من يأت ربه مجرما فإن له جهنم لا يموت فيها ولا﴾ [طه: 74]
| Dr Kamal Omar Verily, it (is that) whoever comes to his Nourisher-Sustainer as a criminal, then surely, for him is Hell; he will not die therein and will not live (as a living one in its true sense) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, whoever approaches his Lord as one who sins, then, truly, for him is hell. Neither will he die in it nor will he live |
| Dr Munir Munshey Indeed, hell is for the one who comes to his Lord as a criminal. There, he will never die _ nor live |
| Edward Henry Palmer Verily, he who comes to his Lord a sinner,- verily, for him is hell; he shall not die therein, and shall not live |

| Maududi The truth is that Hell awaits him who comes to his Lord laden with sin; he shall neither die in it nor live |
