﴿قَالَ بَل رَّبُّكُمۡ رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ ٱلَّذِي فَطَرَهُنَّ وَأَنَا۠ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 56]
﴿قال بل ربكم رب السموات والأرض الذي فطرهن وأنا على ذلكم من﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 56]
| Dr Kamal Omar (Ibrahim) said: “Nay! Nourisher-Sustainer to you people is the Nourisher-Sustainer of the heavens and the earth — That One Who initiated them, and I am, over your this matter, out of those who are direct witnesses |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar He said: Nay! Your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who originated them. And I am of the ones who bear witness to this |
| Dr Munir Munshey Indeed not! Your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the One Who brought them into being. I bear witness to this (Truth) |
| Edward Henry Palmer He said, 'Nay, but your Lord is Lord of the heavens and the earth, which He originated; and I am of those who testify to this |
| Farook Malik He replied, "Nay! Your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. It is He Who has created them; and I am of those who bear witness to this |
| George Sale He replied, verily your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth; it is He who hath created them: And I am one of those who bear witness thereof |
| Maududi He said: "Nay, but your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth which He created and to that I bear witness before you |
