Quran with Tafsir_English translation - Surah Al-Mu’minun ayat 100 - المؤمنُون - Page - Juz 18
﴿لَعَلِّيٓ أَعۡمَلُ صَٰلِحٗا فِيمَا تَرَكۡتُۚ كـَلَّآۚ إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَآئِلُهَاۖ وَمِن وَرَآئِهِم بَرۡزَخٌ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 100]
﴿لعلي أعمل صالحا فيما تركت كلا إنها كلمة هو قائلها ومن ورائهم﴾ [المؤمنُون: 100]
Dr Kamal Omar so that I may act in righteousness in that which I rejected." Certainly impossible! It is indeed (only) a statement, he is an emitter to it. And behind them is Barzakh until the Day when they will be resurrected |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar so that perhaps I will do as one in accord with morality in what I left behind. No indeed! Truly, it is only a word that one who converses says. And ahead of them is a barrier until the Day they are raised up |
