﴿أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ يَوۡمَئِذٍ خَيۡرٞ مُّسۡتَقَرّٗا وَأَحۡسَنُ مَقِيلٗا ﴾
[الفُرقَان: 24]
﴿أصحاب الجنة يومئذ خير مستقرا وأحسن مقيلا﴾ [الفُرقَان: 24]
| Dr Kamal Omar The inmates of Paradise, this Day are good in respect of an abode and better in respect of a place of rest |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar The Companions of the Garden on that Day will have the best resting place and the fairer place of noonday rest |
| Dr Munir Munshey That day, the people of paradise shall have exquisite residences and the most peaceful resting places |
| Edward Henry Palmer The fellows of Paradise on that day shall be in a better abiding-place and a better noonday rest |
| Farook Malik In contrast, the heirs of paradise shall have the best residence and finest lodging on that Day |
| George Sale On that day shall they who are destined to paradise be more happy in an abode, and have a preferable place of repose at noon |
| Maududi (On the contrary) only those who have deserved the Garden, will have a good abode on that Day and a cool place for midday rest |
