﴿فَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنِ ٱضۡرِب بِّعَصَاكَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَۖ فَٱنفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرۡقٖ كَٱلطَّوۡدِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ ﴾
[الشعراء: 63]
﴿فأوحينا إلى موسى أن اضرب بعصاك البحر فانفلق فكان كل فرق كالطود﴾ [الشعراء: 63]
Dr Kamal Omar So We sent inspiration to Musa (saying) that: "Strike with your rod (on) the sea.” Instantly it parted and each separate part (of the sea-water) became like a firm mass, extremely huge |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Then, We revealed to Moses saying that: Strike the sea with thy staff and it divided and each had been a separate part like a high, tremendous mountain |
Dr Munir Munshey We instructed Musa by revelation, to strike the sea with his stick! The sea split; each portion stood like a huge towering mountain |
