﴿فَسَقَىٰ لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَآ أَنزَلۡتَ إِلَيَّ مِنۡ خَيۡرٖ فَقِيرٞ ﴾
[القَصَص: 24]
﴿فسقى لهما ثم تولى إلى الظل فقال رب إني لما أنـزلت إلي﴾ [القَصَص: 24]
Dr Kamal Omar So he watered (the flocks) for both of them. Then he turned back to a shade and said: “My Nourisher-Sustainer! Truly I am, for what You have bestowed on me out of good and palatable — one who is in need |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar So he drew water for them. Again, he turned away to the shade and said: My Lord! Truly, I am, certainly, of whatever Thou caused to descend of good to me, in need |

Maududi On hearing this Moses watered their flocks for them, and then returned in a shaded place and said: "My Lord, I am truly in great need of any good that You might send down to me |
