﴿وَإِلَىٰ مَدۡيَنَ أَخَاهُمۡ شُعَيۡبٗا فَقَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱرۡجُواْ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَ وَلَا تَعۡثَوۡاْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُفۡسِدِينَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 36]
﴿وإلى مدين أخاهم شعيبا فقال ياقوم اعبدوا الله وارجوا اليوم الآخر ولا﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 36]
| Dr Kamal Omar And to Madyan (We sent) their brother Shuaib. So he said: “O my nation! Pay obedience to Allah and pay heed to the Last Day, and do not roam on the earth as disruptionists and mischief-mongers |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And to Midian, their brother Shuayb. He said: O my folk! Worship God and hope for the Last Day and do not mischief in and on the earth as ones who make corruption |
| Dr Munir Munshey (We sent) towards the nation of Madyan, their brother, Shoaib. He said, "Oh people, worship Allah, rely on the Day of Judgment, and do not act wickedly in this world seeking mischief |
| Edward Henry Palmer And unto Midian we sent their brother Sho'haib, and he said, 'My people, serve God, and hope for the last day; and waste not the land, despoiling it |
| Farook Malik To the people of Madyan We sent their brother Shu‘aib, who said: "O my people! Worship Allah and look forward to the Last Day, and do not transgress in the land wickedly |
| George Sale And unto the inhabitants of Madian We sent their brother Shoaib; and he said unto them, O my people, serve God, and expect the last day; and transgress not, acting corruptly in the earth |
| Maududi And We sent to Midian their brother Shuayb. He said: "My people, serve Allah and look forward to the Last Day and do not go about the earth committing mischief |
