﴿وَعَادٗا وَثَمُودَاْ وَقَد تَّبَيَّنَ لَكُم مِّن مَّسَٰكِنِهِمۡۖ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ فَصَدَّهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَكَانُواْ مُسۡتَبۡصِرِينَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 38]
﴿وعادا وثمود وقد تبين لكم من مساكنهم وزين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم فصدهم﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 38]
| Dr Kamal Omar And ’Ad and Samud (people)! And indeed, has become clear to you through their (ruined) dwellings (their complete destruction and doom). And Satan made their deeds fair-seeming to them and deviated them from the (Right) Path and they became helpless beholders |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And Ad and Thamud, surely, it became clear to you from their dwellings. Satan made their actions appear pleasing to them and barred them from the way and they had been ones who see clearly |
| Dr Munir Munshey (And We destroyed) ´Aads´ and the ´Samoods´; their ruined dwellings are quite well known. Shaitan made their deeds appear delightful to them. Although they were endowed with reason and intellect, yet Shaitan diverted them from the (straight) path |
| Edward Henry Palmer And 'Ad and Thamud - but it is plain to you from their habitations; for Satan made seemly to them their works, and turned them from the way, sagacious though they were |
| Farook Malik Likewise We destroyed the people of ‘Ad and the Thamud: you have seen the traces of their dwellings. Satan had made their foul deeds fair-seeming to them and diverted them from the Right Way, though they were intelligent people |
| George Sale And We also destroyed the tribes of Ad, and Thamud; and this is well known unto you from what yet remains of their dwellings. And Satan prepared their works for them, and turned them aside from the way of truth; although they were sagacious people |
| Maududi And We destroyed Ad and Thamud, whose dwellings you have observed. Satan had embellished their deeds for them and had turned them away from the Right Path although they were a people of clear perception |
