﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَن تُغۡنِيَ عَنۡهُمۡ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـٔٗاۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 116]
﴿إن الذين كفروا لن تغني عنهم أموالهم ولا أولادهم من الله شيئا﴾ [آل عِمران: 116]
| Dr Kamal Omar Surely, those who have rejected (acted against Al-Kitab): shall not profit them their possessions and nor their children, against Allah, in any way. And they are dwellers of the Fire. They, therein (shall be) dwellers |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, those who were ungrateful never will avail them their wealth nor their children against God at all. And those will be the Companions of the Fire. They are ones who will dwell in it forever |
| Dr Munir Munshey As for those who continue to reject (the truth), their riches and their offspring would not help them a bit against Allah. They are the inmates of fire, and shall remain there forever |
| Edward Henry Palmer Verily, those who misbelieve, their wealth is of no service to them, nor their children either, against God; they are the fellows of the Fire, and they shall dwell therein for aye |
| Farook Malik Those who reject Faith,- neither their possessions nor their (numerous) progeny will avail them aught against Allah. They will be companions of the Fire,- dwelling therein (for ever) |
| George Sale As for the unbelievers, their wealth shall not profit them at all, neither their children, against God: They shall be the companions of hell fire; they shall continue therein for ever |
| Maududi As for those who denied the Truth, neither their possessions nor their children will avail them against Allah. They are the people of the Fire, and therein they shall abide |
