﴿وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفۡسٍ أَن تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِ كِتَٰبٗا مُّؤَجَّلٗاۗ وَمَن يُرِدۡ ثَوَابَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا نُؤۡتِهِۦ مِنۡهَا وَمَن يُرِدۡ ثَوَابَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ نُؤۡتِهِۦ مِنۡهَاۚ وَسَنَجۡزِي ٱلشَّٰكِرِينَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 145]
﴿وما كان لنفس أن تموت إلا بإذن الله كتابا مؤجلا ومن يرد﴾ [آل عِمران: 145]
| Dr Kamal Omar And it is not for a life that she dies, except by the permission of Allah (and this happens at) an appointed term. And whoever desires reward in the world We shall give him of it; and whoever desires reward in the Hereafter, We shall give him thereof. And soon We shall reward the grateful |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar It had not been for any soul to die, but with the permission of God. Prescribed is that which is appointed. And whoever wants a reward for good deeds in the present, We will give him that. And whoever wants a reward for good deeds in the world to come We will give him that. And We will give recompense to the ones who are thankful |
