﴿ٱلَّذِينَ يَذۡكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمٗا وَقُعُودٗا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمۡ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقۡتَ هَٰذَا بَٰطِلٗا سُبۡحَٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 191]
﴿الذين يذكرون الله قياما وقعودا وعلى جنوبهم ويتفكرون في خلق السموات والأرض﴾ [آل عِمران: 191]
Dr Kamal Omar Those who transmit (the Message of) Allah, standing, sitting and (lying down) on their sides and ponder in the creation of the heavens and the earth, (saying): “Our Nourisher-Sustainer! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! So save us from the torment of Fire |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar those who remember God while upright and sitting and on their sides and they reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth: Our Lord! Thou hadst not created this in vain. Glory be to Thee! Then, protect us from the punishment of the fire |
Dr Munir Munshey Those who remember Allah (at all times) _ standing up, sitting down, and lying on their side, and those who ponder over the creation of the heaven and the earth (conclude), "Our Lord, You did not create (all) this in vain (and to no avail).
