﴿وَإِنَّ مِنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَمَن يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكُمۡ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡهِمۡ خَٰشِعِينَ لِلَّهِ لَا يَشۡتَرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ثَمَنٗا قَلِيلًاۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرُهُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِيعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 199]
﴿وإن من أهل الكتاب لمن يؤمن بالله وما أنـزل إليكم وما أنـزل﴾ [آل عِمران: 199]
| Dr Kamal Omar And certainly, among the people of Al-Kitab is that who Believes in Allah and ‘what has been delivered towards you and what is delivered towards them ’, having full regard of submission to Allah. They do not purchase at the cost of Ayaat of Allah a meagre sum. Those people: for them, their reward is with their Nourisher-Sustainer. Surely, Allah is swift in accountability |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And, truly, among the People of the Book are those who believe in God and what was caused to descend to you and what was caused to descend to them, ones who are humble toward God. They exchange not the signs of God for a little price. Those, for them, their compensation is with their Lord. And, truly, God is Swift in reckoning |
