﴿لَٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ رَبَّهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتٞ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا نُزُلٗا مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞ لِّلۡأَبۡرَارِ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 198]
﴿لكن الذين اتقوا ربهم لهم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار خالدين فيها﴾ [آل عِمران: 198]
| Dr Kamal Omar But those who remained mindful of their Nourisher-Sustainer, for them are gardens, flow under them rivers. (They are) dwellers therein — a reception from the presence of Allah. And whatever is with Allah is the best for Al-Abrar |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar But those who were Godfearing of their Lord, for them will be Gardens beneath which rivers run, ones who will dwell in them forever, a hospitality from God. And what is with God is best for the pious |
| Dr Munir Munshey Whereas, there exist gardens of paradise _ through which run the rivers _ for those who fear their Lord. (A generous gift of welcome) _ a hospitable reception from Allah! That which exists with Allah for the devoted and the dutiful, is much better |

| George Sale But they who fear their Lord shall have gardens through which rivers flow, they shall continue therein for ever : This is the gift of God; for what is with God shall be better for the righteous than short-lived worldly prosperity |
| Maududi But those who fear their Lord: theirs shall be the gardens beneath which rivers flow and in which they will live forever: a hospitality from Allah Himself, And Allah´s reward is best for the truly pious |
