﴿إِنَّ أَوۡلَى ٱلنَّاسِ بِإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لَلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوهُ وَهَٰذَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَلِيُّ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 68]
﴿إن أولى الناس بإبراهيم للذين اتبعوه وهذا النبي والذين آمنوا والله ولي﴾ [آل عِمران: 68]
| Dr Kamal Omar Surely the nearest of men to Ibrahim are those who followed him and this Prophet and those who have Believed. And Allah is the Wali of the Believers |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, of humanity closest to Abraham are those who followed him and this Prophet and those who believed. And God is Protector of the ones who believe |
| Dr Munir Munshey The people who can rightfully claim (allegiance to) Ibraheem, are of course those who obeyed him; and (now) this prophet (Muhammad, SAW) and those who believe (in this prophet). And Allah is the Protector of the believers |
| Edward Henry Palmer Verily, the people most worthy of Abraham are those who follow him and his prophets, and those who believe;- God is the patron of the believers |

| Maududi Surely the people who have the best claim to a relationship with Abraham are those who followed him in the past, and presently this Prophet and those who believe in him; Allah is the guardian of the men of faith |
