﴿أَوَلَمۡ يَتَفَكَّرُواْ فِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۗ مَّا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَجَلٖ مُّسَمّٗىۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِلِقَآيِٕ رَبِّهِمۡ لَكَٰفِرُونَ ﴾
[الرُّوم: 8]
﴿أو لم يتفكروا في أنفسهم ما خلق الله السموات والأرض وما بينهما﴾ [الرُّوم: 8]
| Dr Kamal Omar Do they then not ponder in their ownselves (that) Allah did not create the heavens and the earth and whatever is between those two except for a due purpose and (for) an appointed term? And indeed, the majority of mankind regarding the meeting with their Nourisher-Sustainer, are surely disbelievers |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Or if they reflect not in themselves, God created not the heavens and the earth and whatever is between the two but with The Truth and for a term that is determined. And, truly, most of humanity, in the meeting with their Lord, are, certainly, ones who disbelieve |
