﴿۞ وَمَن يُسۡلِمۡ وَجۡهَهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحۡسِنٞ فَقَدِ ٱسۡتَمۡسَكَ بِٱلۡعُرۡوَةِ ٱلۡوُثۡقَىٰۗ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡأُمُورِ ﴾
[لُقمَان: 22]
﴿ومن يسلم وجهه إلى الله وهو محسن فقد استمسك بالعروة الوثقى وإلى﴾ [لُقمَان: 22]
Dr Kamal Omar And whosoever submits his face (i.e., personality) to Allah while he is a Muhsin then surely he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold. And towards Allah is the final end of (all) affairs |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And whoever submits his face to God while he is one who is a doer of good, then, surely, he held fast to the most firm handhold. And to God is the Ultimate End of affairs |
Dr Munir Munshey He who resigns and hands over his affairs to Allah _ provided he is righteous _ has indeed latched on to a secure and dependable support. The final disposition of all matters rests with Allah |
Edward Henry Palmer But he who resigns his face unto God, and does good, he has grasped the firm handle; unto God is the issue of affairs |

Maududi Whoever surrenders himself to Allah and lives righteously grasps the most firm handle. The ultimate decision of all matters rests with Allah |
