[السَّجدة: 12]

And if only you Muhammad could envisage the wicked when they are up standing before Allah in Day of Judgement drooping their heads, incensed with multiple wrongs and humiliations, imploring His mercy and expressing their thoughts in words: "Now O Allah, our Creator, we can see what our minds' eyes failed to see and we hear what our hearts' ears failed to hear" "Would You send us back to make up for what we neglected and to imprint our deeds with wisdom and piety. We are now convinced that what the Messengers presented to us was indeed the truth

And if you see when the Mujrimun are such that hang their heads before their Nourisher-Sustainer (and say): Our Nourisher-Sustainer! We have seen and heard (every thing), so send us back, we shall do righteous deeds (in the world, henceforth). Surely, we are (now) those who have attained certainty (in Faith).”
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar
And if thou but see when the ones who sin become ones who bend down their heads before their Lord: Our Lord! We perceived and heard. So return us. We will do as ones in accord with morality. Truly, we are now ones who are certain
Dr Munir Munshey
Alas! If you could see the criminals _ their head bowed (in shame and grief) _ standing before their Lord, saying, "Lord, we have seen and heard. Send us back! Now we will do good deeds. Indeed, we are now convinced
Edward Henry Palmer
And couldst thou see when the sinners hang down their heads before their Lord, 'O Lord! we have seen and we have heard; send us back then and we will do right. Verily, we are sure

If only you could visualize when the criminals will hang their heads before their Lord saying: "Our Lord! We have seen and we have heard; please send us back to the world and we will do good deeds: we are now convinced

If thou couldest see, when the wicked shall bow down their heads before their Lord, saying, O Lord, we have seen, and have heard: Suffer us therefore to return into the world, and we will work that which is right; since we are now certain of the truth of what hath been preached to us: Thou wouldst see an amazing sight
Maududi
Would that you could see the guilty standing before their Lord with their heads downcast, (saying to Him): "Our Lord, we have now seen and heard, so send us back (to the world) that we might act righteously. For now we have come to have firm faith
