﴿وَلَقَدۡ كَانُواْ عَٰهَدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مِن قَبۡلُ لَا يُوَلُّونَ ٱلۡأَدۡبَٰرَۚ وَكَانَ عَهۡدُ ٱللَّهِ مَسۡـُٔولٗا ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 15]
﴿ولقد كانوا عاهدوا الله من قبل لا يولون الأدبار وكان عهد الله﴾ [الأحزَاب: 15]
| Dr Kamal Omar And surely, indeed they had been giving covenant to Allah since before that they will not turn (their) backs, and a covenant made with is a questioned one (i.e., , it will have to be accounted for) |
