﴿قُل لَّن يَنفَعَكُمُ ٱلۡفِرَارُ إِن فَرَرۡتُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ أَوِ ٱلۡقَتۡلِ وَإِذٗا لَّا تُمَتَّعُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا ﴾
[الأحزَاب: 16]
﴿قل لن ينفعكم الفرار إن فررتم من الموت أو القتل وإذا لا﴾ [الأحزَاب: 16]
| Dr Kamal Omar Say: “Flight (from battle-ground) will not benefit you if you fled (out of fear of impending) death or killing, and then you will not enjoy except a little period (that you may stay in this world).” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Say: Running away will never profit you that you ran away from death or killing, then, you will be given enjoyment but for a little |
| Dr Munir Munshey Tell them, "You may attempt to run away from death and slaying. But such a flight will not do you much good. After that you will not be able to enjoy except for just a short while |
