﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقّٞۖ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُم بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡغَرُورُ ﴾
[فَاطِر: 5]
﴿ياأيها الناس إن وعد الله حق فلا تغرنكم الحياة الدنيا ولا يغرنكم﴾ [فَاطِر: 5]
| Dr Kamal Omar O you mankind! Verily, the Promise made by Allah is true. So let not this present life deceive you and let not the chief deceiver (i.e., Iblis) deceive you regarding Allah |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O humanity! Truly, the promise of God is true. So let not this present life delude you. And let not the deluder delude you about God |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh all you people, listen! Of course the promise of Allah is absolutely true! So do not ever let the life of this world deceive you, and do not ever let the deceiver, (the Shaitan), mislead you about Allah |
| Edward Henry Palmer O ye folk! verily, God's promise is true; then let not the life of this world beguile you, and let not the beguiler beguile you concerning God |

| Maududi O people, assuredly Allah´s promise is true. So let the life of the world not delude you, and let not the Deluder delude you concerning Allah |
